Hey there! We are Nav and Gee and welcome to our site … Primed Parent! We have a beautiful baby daughter, Annie… and actually she is also our inspiration.
Not so long ago we too were new, inexperienced and anxious parents. We had a never-ending list of questions which started many months before Annie even came into this world … What should you eat during pregnancy? … What can help with morning sickness? We were even worried about how we were going to bring her home from the hospital … What is the best car seat for a newborn?
And the questions never stopped.
What monitor shall we use to keep an eye on her when she is sleeping? Then around when she was 6 weeks old, Annie’s unexplained daily bouts of crying left us wondering … So just what is baby colic?
Like many other parents we trawled though the internet, spoke to doctors, friends and family for answers, but often found confusing and conflicting advice.
That’s why we decided to set up a site which we hope to build a one-stop hub to answer all your parental questions! We will do everything we can to make sure this becomes a reality.
We are not pediatricians, but as we are both Dentists and come from a family of medical doctors, we are experienced in reading and interpreting medical literature. This helps us when we are writing content. We also use a team of seasoned writers who are not only knowledgeable in quality market research, but also experienced parents themselves. So when we write, we understand exactly how you as a parent are feeling. This way we feel confident that the advice we publish is guidance that we would be happy to follow ourselves for the betterment of our own children.
